Consistent experience

This is my third time renewing my AutoCAD subscription with Autodesk CA. The process was as smooth as always, just like my previous purchases. No surprises, which is what I appreciate most. I've always found their pricing to be competitive, especially with the renewal savings they offer. It's reliable.

Love my new Revit!

Got my Revit subscription and I'm so happy! The download was fast and installation was a breeze. I'm already deep into my projects with it. Will definitely be renewing when the time comes!

Good value, slow download

I bought a 1-year subscription for Fusion 360 during a flash sale. The price was really good, saved about 20% which felt like a solid deal. The download process was a bit slower than I expected, took a while to get everything set up. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about installation, so that helped.

Smooth Maya purchase

I ordered Maya for a new project and the whole experience was pretty streamlined. The website was easy to navigate to find the product. After purchase, I received the confirmation email promptly, and the download link was clear. Installation was straightforward, no hiccups. I had a quick question about system requirements before buying and their chat support was helpful, answered it quickly. The software itself is working perfectly, as expected. Overall, it was a good process from start to finish.

Great savings on AutoCAD LT

First time buying directly from Autodesk CA. I was looking for the best deal on AutoCAD LT and found a 3-year subscription option that saved me a lot compared to paying annually. It was applied automatically at checkout, no codes needed. Felt like I got great value for my money.

Does Autodesk CA ever have sales on Black Friday? Like, big ones? Or is it just kinda standard discounts they always have?

M Marcus Marsh 2 months ago
They definitely do! I snagged a pretty sweet deal on Maya last Black Friday. Worth waiting for if you can.

Yeah, they usually have something going on for Black Friday, and Cyber Monday too. Not always huge but sometimes you can find 20-25% off.

Quick question about getting a student discount. How do I actually prove I'm a student? Is there like a specific form or do I just upload my student ID?

T Troy 3 months ago
You usually have to go through a verification process. It's not just uploading an ID, they'll ask for stuff like enrollment letters or transcripts. It's pretty standard for educational software.

I think they use SheerID or something similar to verify. It takes a little bit but it's not too bad.

Anyone know if you can stack discounts? Like if I get the 3-year subscription for the savings, can I also use a promo code or something on top of that?

A Amber 3 months ago
Nah, they usually don't do promo codes at all, it's more automatic discounts. So you'd get the 3-year savings, but probably not an extra coupon on top.

They don't really do promo codes for stacking. The discounts are usually built-in for things like the longer subscriptions or specific bundles.

Thinking of switching from SolidWorks to Fusion 360. What's the deal with their return policy if I don't like it? Is it a hassle to cancel and get money back?

M Marcus 2 months ago
Returns were pretty easy for me last year when I tried something out and it wasn't a good fit. Just follow the steps on their site.

I think you have a short window, like 30 days maybe, to return for a full refund. Just make sure to initiate it within that timeframe.

Hey guys, thinking of getting AutoCAD LT, but do they charge in USD or CAD? Just wanna make sure my bank isn't gonna hit me with extra fees.

A Alex 2 months ago
It's CAD, don't worry. I bought Inventor a few months ago and it all went through in Canadian dollars.

K Kate F. 2 months ago
Yeah, they're the Canadian site, so it's all in CAD. Makes sense, right? lol

Looking to get Revit. Can I use it on both my desktop at home and my laptop for when I travel? Or is it locked to one machine?

D Daisy 3 months ago
You can usually install it on a couple of devices, but you can only be actively using it on one at a time. I have AutoCAD on my work computer and my personal one.

S Shane Q. 3 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure you can have it on two as long as you're not running both simultaneously. Check their terms though, just to be safe.
